Welcome to Deal Installations and Maintenance Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Deal”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a registered company in the UK that provides plumbing, carpentry, kitchen and bathroom fitting, multi-trade, tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating services.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”).

 

Payment

1.1. Our charges are based on an hourly or a fixed rate, as agreed upon before the commencement of work. We accept payments by bank transfer, cash, or cheque. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

1.2. Any additional work requested by the customer that is not included in the original quote will be charged separately and is subject to the same payment terms.

 

Materials

2.1. Materials supplied by the customer will not be covered by our guarantee. Only materials supplied by Deal will be guaranteed as per the supplier warranty.

2.2. If we have to purchase materials on behalf of the customer, we will require payment for these materials in advance.

2.3. We reserve the right to add a markup of up to 25% on materials purchased by DEAL. This markup may be applied to cover expenses related to processing, handling, and storage of the materials, as well as any other costs associated with acquiring the materials.

 

Rubbish removal

3.1. We do not cover the removal of rubbish generated during the work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3.2. It is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of the waste material in accordance with local authority regulations.

 

Permits and Permissions

4.1. The customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and permissions required for the work, including building regulations and planning permission.

4.2. The customer must ensure that all necessary permissions are obtained before the commencement of work.

 

Timekeeping

5.1. We will make every effort to commence and complete the work on the agreed-upon date(s).

5.2. In the event that we are unable to start work on the agreed-upon date(s) due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the customer as soon as possible.

5.3. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any delay or failure to commence or complete the work.

 

Cancellations

6.1. If the customer wishes to cancel the work, they must give notice in writing.

6.2. If the customer cancels the work after work has commenced, we reserve the right to charge for the work completed up to the date of cancellation.

 

Prices

7.1. All prices quoted by us are exclusive of VAT.

7.2. We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time to reflect changes in supplier costs, currency fluctuations, or changes in the scope of work required.

7.3. We will provide written notice of any price changes to the customer at least 7 days before the commencement of work.

 

Interpretation and Definitions

8.1. “Customer” means the person, firm, or company who engages our services.

8.2. “Services” means the services provided by Deal, including plumbing, carpentry, kitchen and bathroom fitting, multi-trade, tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating services.

8.3. “Materials” means any materials supplied by Deal or the customer for the purposes of the services.

 

Deal Installations and Maintenance Ltd Liability

9.1. We will carry out the services with reasonable care and skill.

9.2. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any delay or failure to commence or complete the work.

9.3. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any materials supplied by the customer.

9.4. Our liability to the customer for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising under or in connection with the provision of the services shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the services.

 

Customer Liability

10.1. The customer shall be liable for any loss or damage caused to Deal or any third party as a result of any act or omission by the customer, their agents, or their employees.

10.2. The customer shall indemnify Deal against any loss or damage arising from any claim made by a third party against Deal as a result of any act or omission by the customer, their agents, or their employees.

 

General T&Cs

11.1. These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all previous agreements or understandings.

11.2. These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

11.3. If any provision of these T&Cs is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11.4. No waiver of any breach of these T&Cs shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other breach, and no waiver shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
